Cleveland police investigate after teenager shot, killed in city’s east side

CLEVELAND — Police are investigating after 17-year-old was shot and killed in Cleveland’s east side.

Cleveland police said the shooting occurred in the 4200 block of East 114th Street at 3:55 p.m. Thursday.

Samuel Nichouls, 17, had been shot multiple times in his head and torso.

Neighbors reportedly heard gunfire, looked outside and saw the teenager in the driveway.

EMS officials assisted Nichouls, who was then declared dead on scene.

Police have not provided any information regarding a suspect at this time.

**Editor’s Note:  EMS originally told FOX 8 the teenager was 16 years old.  Cleveland police confirmed on Friday he was 17.
