Lennell McCormick, 24, was hit by a car on Kinsman Road near East 69th Street on Aug. 18. Cleveland police said the driver fled the scene and no arrests have been made in the case.

"We are still going through the process each and every day, not knowing what happened to our son," said his mother Venita McCormick.

“There's a piece that's missing each and every day… You wake up, you lie down, you know that your son is not with you. We loved our son, that was my baby boy, and he was a very dear, dear son very loving child."

The person is wanted for aggravated vehicular homicide.

“He loved his family very dearly and we loved him. And we can't even explain it and put it into words how deep we loved our son and how deep the pain is when we think of his loss," McCormick said.

Anyone with information should call the investigators at 216062305290. Crime Stoppers accepts anonymous tips at 216-252-7463 or text "TIP657" plus your message to 27437.
