CLEVELAND – The Cleveland school district has had to close school for students at Mary Bethune School today due to damage from a break-in at the building.
Police are investigating the break-in that happened sometime overnight. The thieves broke a number of classroom windows. School was cancelled election day in order to clean up the glass. The Cleveland school district reports that they have not completed a complete inventory yet, but an initial check indicates that several LCD projectors were stolen.
The PreK thru 8th grade school is also a polling location, but the polls will remain open.
