CLEVELAND (WJW) — The Browns hosted the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at FirstEnergy Stadium for Jacoby Brissett’s last game as the planned starter. And it was a doozy, going into overtime with Nick Chubb coming in for the win down to the wire.
Just a few minutes into the first quarter, wide receiver Anthony Schwartz made a 31-yard early touchdown to make it 7-0 Browns.
Great play call on the Anthony Schwartz TD run and great block by Jacoby Brissett. #Browns— P.J. ZIEGLER (@PJFOX8) November 27, 2022

With about 2 minutes left in the first quarter, kicker Cade York launched a 51-yard field goal to make it Browns 10, Bucks 7.
Late in the second quarter, the Browns’ drive stopped at Tampa Bay’s 21-yard line and York’s 39-yard field goal attempt was wide left and no good.

And when I mean wide, I mean that kick wasn’t even close, like not even within 20 feet close.
Yikes.#Browns clinging to a 10-7 lead.@fox8news
With less than a minute in the first half, Tampa Bay countered with a 42-yard field goal from Cleveland’s 24-yard line to tie the game.
The last play of the half was a fourth-down pass from Brissett, which was intercepted in the end zone.

On the Bucks’ first drive of the third quarter, Brady got a 5-yard pass to Ko Kieft for a touchdown to put the Bucks up 17-10. The Browns were not able to capitalize on anything and the third quarter ended with the score staying the same.
For most of the fourth quarter, there was no scoring by either team. But then, when it seemed like all was lost, the Browns tied in the final minute of regulation. David Njoku caught that ball and then the extra point kick was good.
The Browns forced the Buccaneers into an overtime. And they were able, in the final minute of the game to score a touchdown. The final score was 23-17.
