CLEVELAND- The Cleveland Indians want fans to help name the new, two-story bar at Progressive Field.
As part of the off-season renovations to the 20-year-old ballpark, crews ripped out the old Batter’s Eye Bar in center field. It’s being replaced by a climate-controlled space where the Budweiser Patio is located.
Tribe fans can vote online for their favorite name for the new right field bar. The four choices are Blues Brewhouse, Carnegie Corner, District Brewhouse and Tribe Taphouse.
Among other changes to Progressive Field include a remodeled Gate C, a statue of Larry Doby and expanded Kids Clubhouse. The team is also adding new food options from local restaurants Melt Bar and Grilled, Barrio Tacos and Sweet Moses Soda Fountain and Treat Shop.
Fox 8’s P.J. Ziegler got a sneak peak at the renovations in December. Watch his story here.
