Cleveland Indians equipment truck leaves for spring training

CLEVELAND, Ohio — It’s a sure sign spring is almost here.

The Cleveland Indians’ equipment truck left this morning for spring training in Goodyear, Arizona.

Crews filled the trucks with all their needed baseball gear.

Pitchers and catchers will report to camp on Feb. 17, and the rest of the squad is due on Feb. 21.

The team’s home opener is set for April 4 this year.
