ATLANTA (AP/WJW) — Sunday, the Cleveland Browns were in Atlanta, where they were not able to come up with a win against the Falcons. They are now 2-2 on the season.
Falcons kicker Younghoe Koo was the first to score with a field goal. Moments later, Falcons RB Cordarrelle Patterson went 13 yards for a touchdown bringing the score to 10-0 with a couple minutes left in the first quarter.
Browns QB Jacoby Brissett scrambled and scored with a 4-yard touchdown in the second quarter. See it here. The Falcons have the lead with 10-7.
Browns kicker Cade York tied it up with a 29-yard field goal. The score was 10-10 at the half.
In the third quarter, the Browns relied on York once more, with him making him a 45-yard field goal, moving the score to 13-10.
The Falcons answered in the fourth quarter with a quick touchdown and easy extra point, and the score suddenly moved to 17-13.
Nick Chubb came through, though!
However, the lead would not last long, with the Falcons coming back with a field goal by Koo. Score was tied at 20-20. Then Koo comes through again and his team is three up on Cleveland.
In the end, the team could not answer and the Browns fell to the Falcons 23-20.
