CLEVELAND - On the morning after five police officers were shot and killed at a Dallas protest, and the week after the nation reacted to the police-involved shootings of men in St. Paul, Minnesota and Baton Rouge, Louisiana, area clergy are calling for prayers for peace.
The United Pastors in Mission, which is made up of greater Cleveland pastors and ministers, held a press conference to pray for peace in the nation and in Cleveland.
They gathered to be "praying specifically for the families of Philander Castile of St. Paul Minnesota and Alton Sterling of Baton Rouge, Louisiana shot and killed over the past few days. They will also be praying for the Police of Dallas and those families and officers killed. "
