CLEVELAND– The newly-renovated Public Square in downtown Cleveland is getting all dressed up for the holidays.
A 45-foot-tall blue spruce was putting up in the square Monday morning.
You’ll have to wait for the tree-lighting ceremony. It’s Saturday, Nov. 26 during Winterfest 2016. The festival runs from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Public Square with food, carriage rides and fireworks.
But the Cleveland Foundation ice rink starts soon. The rink will be open from Nov. 19 to Feb. 28. It’s $10 if you need skates or $7 if you bring your own. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 8 p.m.
There is a free day of skating on Nov. 26 from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
