Chick-fil-A challenging families to ‘coop up’ their cell phones

Chick-fil-A has found a unique way to bring families together for meals free of distractions.

The operator of a restaurant in Suwanee, Ga., started it all.

Brad Williams and his team developed a ‘cell phone coop.’ Families are challenged to put their cell phones in the box and then enjoy a meal together.

If they get through without touching their phones, everyone gets free ice cream from Chick-Fil-A.

The challenge quickly took off, and now select Chick-fil-A restaurants across the country are offering the Cell Phone Coops.
