CLEVELAND — Kyrie Irving was on the bench watching with an injured left index finger.  He watched Jeremy Pargo, who assumed his starting point guard position, lay down 28 points against the Phildelphia 76ers en route to a 92-83 victory.

Pargo keyed the Wine and Gold attack to the tune of a 28-point first quarter as Cleveland took command by 13. Things got even more lopsided in the second quarter.

Philadelphia was not going to leave town without a fight.  They fought back from the huge deficit to close the gap to just 2 points in the fourth quarter with 3:21 left.

Never fear, Pargo is here. He gunned home 12 points in the fourth quarter to silence any kind of comeback for the Sixers.

Rookie Dion Waiters fired home 16 to aid in the scoring but he needed 22 shots to get that done.  Never under estimate the hustle of Anderson Varejao, who ripped down 19 rebounds to go with his 10 points. Alonzo Gee had a productive night, scoring 14, grabbing 6 rebounds and blocking 3 shots. Tristan Thompson, playing with a mask pulled down 11 rebounds.

Former Ohio State Buckeye Evan Turner filled the stat sheet for the visitor, scoring 12, grabbing 12 rebounds and dishing out 7 assists
