Two fall into icy water trying to rescue man in Coventry Township
Three people were pulled from the water at Iron Channel in Coventry Township Friday night. Two people heard a 24-year-old man struggling in the water just before 11 p.m. They also ended up in the water. When a sheriff’s deputy arrived, he was able to pull two of them to safety. He was helped by another resident in pulling the initial victim out of the cold water. The three who fell in the water are expected be OK.

Weather alerts expiring, more snow coming tomorrow
The storm that hit Northeast Ohio last night and this morning is moving out. But another storm — one with a lot less snow — is headed our way. Another front will bring snow showers to the area tomorrow. Most of us will see a general coating of snow with an inch of snow or less. Then another front will go through on Friday — when we could see a high of 50 degrees.

Study: Too much fish during pregnancy increases a child’s obesity risk
Advice to pregnant women to not overdo it on fish is getting an endorsement from new research. In a massive long-term study spanning 11 countries, researchers found that eating fish more than three times a week during pregnancy was associated with increased risk of childhood obesity, according to an article published online Monday by JAMA Pediatrics. Researchers also found that consuming fish more than three times a week was linked to rapid growth in the first two years of life.

Antonin Scalia lie in repose at Supreme Court Friday
Justice Antonin Scalia will lie in repose at the Supreme Court on Friday followed by a funeral Saturday, a source close to the family tells CNN. Justice Antonin Scalia’s Supreme Court bench chair and the bench directly in front of it were draped Tuesday with black wool crepe to memorialize the justice who died over the weekend. In accordance with Supreme Court tradition, a black drape has also been hung over the courtroom doors. The flags on the court’s front plaza will be flown at half-staff for 30 days, the court also said.
