One of the biggest problems since the “big” switch to digital television, antennas!

If you have a tv with an antenna and you are having trouble getting a certain channel, move the antenna around.

Just like it used to be, if a station wasn’t coming in very well, you’d have to play with the rabbit ears until you got a better signal. It’s the same thing with digital.

Here’s what to do. Punch in the number of the station you want (for Fox 8, punch in 8-point-1). Then move the antenna around. You may have to walk around the room, or put the antenna closer to the window, you should get the station you’re looking for.

If that doesn’t work, you may need to upgrade your antenna, by going to your local electronics store.

Also, make sure that your antenna is both UHF and VHF. Some people have one or the other, and you need one with both, especially to see Fox 8, now on the VHF side. If you change the antenna orientation you will need to rescan your DTV tuner or set-top box
