A week after an expanded search to find the person who killed 10-year-old Amy Mihaljevic, the FBI said they have received calls on the case.

In October of 1989, Amy was taken from the Bay Square Shopping Center in Bay Village after being lured there by a man. Her body was found the following February in Ashland County.

Last Wednesday, the national FBI office aired an online podcast detailing Amy’s case on the FBI website, iTunes, and radio stations around the country.

FBI special agent Vicki Anderson said the podcast resulted in calls on the case.

They are currently following up to see if the information they received is a lead or not.

People with tips on the case are asked to call 1-800-call-FBI.
