PITTSBURGH, Pa. — DeAngelo Williams, Pittsburgh Steelers running back, took to Twitter Sunday and Monday after backlash for tipping a waitress 75 cents on a $129 bill.

Restaurant workers on social media called out Williams for not tipping his waitress recently at Ledo Restaurant in Maryland, TMZ reports.

According to TMZ, the waitress in question wrote on Facebook:

“Just now at work I had Deangelo Williams come in and I waited on while tending bar. His check was $128.25. He left me $129 with no tip but .75 cents. So there you go Stealers fans, your running back is cheap as s**t!!! Smh.”

Williams then took to Twitter to defend himself, saying he didn’t tip the waitress because the service was bad.

TMZ reports the waitress was fired.
