NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Florida- A man in Florida was arrested, accused of getting into a fight with police in a Taco Bell drive-thru.

New Smyrna Beach police said Gabriel Harris, 33, was denied service in the drive-thru just after 3 a.m. Sunday morning.

Employees said the restaurant was closed and they wouldn’t have served Harris anyway, because he was on a bicycle.

Police said when they responded, they spotted a weapon on Harris. When they tried to remove it, they said he grabbed the officer’s arm. They also said he appeared intoxicated.

Harris was charged with resisting an officer with violence and booked into the Volusia County Branch Jail.
