Bruce Jenner is ready to live life as a woman.
According to TMZ, Jenner will use his upcoming interview with Diane Sawyer as an opportunity to put his male persona to rest. Sources connected to Jenner and the production told TMZ that Jenner will present himself as a woman publicly for the first time.
He does not dress like a woman during the interview and did not reveal his new name. But the sources told TMZ Jenner sees the interview as the most significant event associated with his sex change. TMZ says he’s using the opportunity to say “farewell to Bruce.”
During the interview, Jenner will talk about identifying as a woman as young as age five, and talk about the difficulties he’s had in life living as a man but not feeling like one. He’ll also talk about the impact his sex change has had on his family. Their lives are chronicled in the popular reality show “Keeping up with the Kardashians.”
The interview will air in a two-hour special later this month.
