CLEVELAND – The man who streaked across the field during a Browns game was given a football-related punishment Wednesday.
Anthony Saveriano was banned from FirstEnergy Stadium for life for any event and must clean up after tailgaters for four games.
He must also pay a $200 fine and court costs.
Saveriano will avoid 180 days in jail as long as he writes a letter of apology to be published in the Plain Dealer.
The 20-year-old Northfield man offered an apology at his sentencing as well.
He was charged with criminal trespassing and public indecency after he streaked across the field during the second half of a Browns/Lions game last month.
