CLEVELAND — Sunday afternoon, FirstEnergy Stadium was full of thousands of fans excited for the first game of the season.

But in addition to all the game day excitement, the Browns took a moment to honor some Cleveland heroes.

Through the “Hats Off to Heroes Honor Row” tribute, the Browns honored the men and women of the Cleveland Police Department who were first on the scene of Seymour Avenue on May 6 to rescue Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight.

The Seymour Avenue survivors also took in the sights and sounds of FirstEnergy Stadium Sunday afternoon. Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus, Michelle Knight and Berry’s daughter were in attendance as guests of the Browns.
