BEREA, Ohio– Changes are coming to FirstEnergy Stadium this fall.

Some improvements are under way when it comes to the fan experience at the home Cleveland Browns games.

There will be differences inside the stadium and outside of the stadium.

Browns leaders want the fans to enjoy the game, but also everything before and after.

It’s all part of what they are calling a home field advantage.

According to Browns Team President, Alec Scheiner, there will be 44 new screening lines and 20 more turnstiles.

So the goal is that you get through the ticket lines faster.

“We think what that means is 4,000 more people coming in every fifteen minutes, which is really the crucial time leading up to the kickoff,” Scheiner said.

Also there are plans to really ramp up the pre-game festivities at the game.

Scheiner tells Fox 8 they want to harness the fans’ energy, and have a lot of fun.

Part of that fun will be a DJ on the field playing music.

Also, team officials are looking at having a drum line.

Where did team leaders get these ideas? From the fans! Much of the feedback came from social media, according to Scheiner.

“Our fans have classically not come to the game before the game, so we’re trying to hear what can get them there earlier,” Scheiner said.
