MAYFIELD VILLAGE, Ohio-- Getting a bridal gown can be one of the most costly expenses of a wedding, but, it may not have to be. There is an opportunity to get a wedding dress at a discounted price this weekend. And, the proceeds from the sales go to a worthy cause.
The Brides Against Breast Cancer has brought its Tour of Gowns to the Hilton Garden Inn in Mayfield Village.
Melissa Overstreet with Brides Against Breast Cancer said there about 600 wedding dresses in all types of styles, sizes and designers. And, all the dresses are available at discounted prices. "It actually retailed at $750 and we're actually selling it at our show for $114,” Overstreet said as she showed a pure white, ballgown.
All the dresses are donated from previous brides, designers, manufacturers and bridal shops. Overstreet said some of the wedding dresses are brand new.
