Brelo defense attorney reacts to not guilty verdicts

CLEVELAND - Moments after his client, Cleveland Police Officer Michael Brelo, was acquitted on all counts of voluntary manslaughter for the deaths of Timothy Russell, 43, and Malissa Williams, 30, one of his attorneys, Cleveland police union attorney Patrick D’Angelo spoke with reporters in the courtroom.

D’Angelo said that he was proud to have played a role in this case, and had strong words for the prosecutors. He also acknowledged his team's regret that two people died, but felt that justice had been served.
