GARFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio — A Brecksville man has pleaded not guilty to vehicular homicide charges for an accident in his pick-up truck that killed two bicyclists and injured three others.
Forty-two-year-old Timothy Wolf, of Brecksville, entered the plea Wednesday in a fax to Garfield Heights Municipal Court.
Police say two cyclists were killed when Wolf struck them while making a left turn in the Cleveland suburb of Brecksville on Sept. 17.
Police say the three trailing cyclists then ran into the truck. Police say the cyclists were traveling at about 35 mph down a steep hill when the accident occurred.
Wolf told investigators that sun glare prevented him from seeing the cyclists.
Wolf’s attorney says his client is heartbroken, but won’t comment about the case until investigations have been completed.
