BOSTON, Mass. – Early Tuesday someone was spotted shoveling the finish line of the Boston Marathon during the blizzard of 2015 and police set out on Twitter to identify the good Samaritan.

Chris Laudani is a local bartender and avid runner. “I decided I’m going to go dig up the finish line because I love that race and everything the city stand for. I love the city, I love the Boston marathon,” Laudani told ABC News.

He also told ABC the finish line is one of his favorite spots in the city and that he doesn’t want to be a hero and was just doing a good deed for the community.

The finish line is significant because it’s where bombings occurred during the 2013 Boston Marathon that killed three and injured many more.
