CLEVELAND, Ohio — Fire officials responded to the Gordon Park marina, where a boat exploded and caught fire Thursday morning.

Firefighters say one person had minor burns to their hands and singed eyebrows.

A group was just taking out a boat they’d just purchased at the time of the fire.

It appears they didn’t use a blower to clear engine fumes, or that the blower wasn’t working properly,  before the engine was started.

The fire was quickly extinguished.
