COLUMBUS, Ohio — A computer glitch that prevented residents from around Ohio and the rest of the country from being issued and renewing drivers licenses has been resolved.
According to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, the problem had been intermittent since Monday after a software update to a national commercial driver license database.
Drivers were actually turned away at several BMVs. Those who were unable to receive their licenses were given a letter from the BMV to carry with them in the event they were stopped by police.
