Parma has been rated one of the safest suburbs in the country, according to an online real estate blog.
Movoto rated Parma #3 because of its low crime rate. The blog says that Parma is safest in terms of property crimes per capita and has the lowest chance of crime, but is the seventh-safest in violent crimes per capita, which kept it from reaching the top spot.
In second place is Fishers, Indiana which is second safest in terms of violent crimes per capita, fourth-safest in property crimes and ranked third in terms of the chance of crime.
Movoto rated Carmel, Indiana number one, which ranked first overall for the lowest number of violent crimes per capita.
