EUDLID, OH — Pittsburgh Steelers’ Quarterback and Findlay native Ben Roethlisberger is giving back to his home state.

Friday, the Ben Roethlisberger Foundation announced a grant to the Euclid Police Department ahead of the Cleveland Browns vs. Pittsburgh Steelers game at FirstEnergy Stadium on Sunday.

The Euclid Police Department will use the $13,000 grant to purchase and train a new dog to replace recently retired K-9 Max.

This season, The Ben Roethlisberger Foundation will distribute grants to K-9 units in the cities and surrounding communities of each regular season away game for the Steelers.

The foundation will also consider a grant to a non-NFL city for each playoff game in which the Steelers compete.

This is the seventh season The Ben Roethlisberger Foundation has distributed grants to police and fire K-9 units.
