Bedford swears in its first female police officer

BEDFORD, Ohio (WJW) — City Manager Michael Mallis swore in Bedford’s first female police officer today.

In a Facebook post, the city welcomed Savannah Selden who came from the New Franklin Police Department.

According to the city’s website, she is joining 34 other sworn-in police officers and 20 auxiliary officers already on staff.
