Bedford Police Department K9 Mike gets new body armor

BEDFORD, Ohio — Bedford Police Department K9 Officer Mike has received body armor.

Mike now has a bullet and stab protective vest.

The vest was donated by Vested Interest in K9s inc., and is embroidered with the line: ‘Vested Interest in K9s, Inc., remembers K9 Dennis Seattle PD.’

Each vest has a value between $1,795 and $2,234 and weighs an average of four to five pounds.
