STRASBURG, Ohio- The autopsy into the deaths of an elderly Strasburg couple could take two months.

The bodies of Doyle, 88, and Lillian Chumney, 79, were found inside their burned car last Thursday in Bakersville. That’s about 15 miles from their Tuscarawas County home.

The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation said the couple’s remains were sent to the Licking County Coroner’s Office, which is typical for cases in Coshocton County. It could take around two months before the autopsy report is complete because of the complexity of the case.

The Chumneys were last heard from last Tuesday. Police said their daughter found their house ransacked and their car missing the next day.

According to Ohio BCI, no one has been arrested. A task force worked all weekend investigating tips.
