Authorities investigating possible homicide in North Ridgeville

NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio-- The FOX 8 I-Team has learned police and state agents with the Bureau of Criminal Investigation are investigating a possible homicide in North Ridgeville.

Sources say a body was found Friday. An exact cause of death is not known.

The police chief says this started out as a missing persons investigation in April; today, the chief confirmed a person was found inside one of the buildings on the property.

The person who lived in the home, 60-year-old Harold Litten, Jr., was reported missing by family members April 17.

Police had been to the neighborhood several times searching for him. They will not confirm what led to the search today. Authorities are not releasing the identity of the person found.
