CLEVELAND, Ohio — Contemporary horror author Stephen King sees a good story-line in the Indians.
The famed writer, of such works as The Shining and Misery, took to Twitter Monday night to show some love for the Tribe ahead of Game One of the World Series.
“Enough with the Cubs! How about some love for the Cleveland Indians? GO, TRIBE!” tweeted King.
The tweet, just before midnight Monday evening, had received nearly 10,000 likes.

The Indians were swift in their response with some quick wit.
.@StephenKing Thanks for taking a Shining to our club!
It is so good to hear.
We're hoping to inflict some Misery on our opponent!

This shout out comes days after legendary Tom Hanks said, “Go Tribe,” on SNL.
