CANTON, Ohio — Police have arrested a man in connection to the kidnapping, carjacking and robbery of three teens last Friday in Canton.

J’Shar Dorian Stinson, 18, was arrested by the North Canton Police Department Monday afternoon on Logan Avenue NW. He is charged with two counts of kidnapping and two counts of aggravated robbery, and is being held in the Stark County Jail.

Canton police are still looking for Stinson’s two accomplices who are believed to have robbed three teens at gunpoint, before striking one of them in the head with a gun and leaving him unconscious in the street.

The three alleged robbers then reportedly drove the carjacked teens to a nearby ATM, where they were forced to take out cash.

They were released by the suspects a short time later and called police.

Alan Strelecki, 17, who was left in the street after getting knocked out by the suspects, was found hours later by a family member. He was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the Canton Police Detective Bureau  immediately at (330) 489-3144.
