CLEVELAND– A man dressed as a construction worker tried to rob the driver of an armored truck in Cleveland, the FBI says.
It happened outside the Family Dollar at Kinsman Road and East 143rd Street Thursday morning.
The suspect was spray painting along the side of the street before the robbery attempt, according to the police report. He approached the driver, who was walking out of the store carrying a bag, and charged at him.
The police report said the suspect was armed with a stun gun and a firearm. He fired one shot, according to the FBI.
No one was injured.
