SANDUSKY, Ohio -- An Amber Alert, which was issued for a 4-year-old Sandusky boy, was canceled Friday evening after the boy was found safe.

According to police, at 4:53 p.m., D'Quai Hemchak was forcibly removed from a vehicle on Prospect St. by his non-custodial mother, Jennifer Ann Hemchak.

The Sandusky Police Department believed the child was in imminent danger.

Officials say Hemchak and the child were found in Lebanon, Ohio, which is near Cincinnati.

She was taken into custody and, once again, the little boy is safe.
