ASHTABULA COUNTY, Ohio — An Amber Alert has been canceled after a 1-year-old Ashtabula County child was found safe.

Authorities believed 1-year-old Ayden Barnard was with his mom and a man.

A 2000 Oldsmobile Bravada connected with the Amber Alert was found in Pierpont Monday evening.  But, no one was inside.

The Ashtabula County Sheriff’s Department said Children Services has legal custody of Ayden.  Officials believed the baby is with his mother, 23-year-old Chasity Cass, and 40-year-old Shawn Barnard. They were last seen on Dec. 15 on either West Main Road in Conneaut or Mells Road in Dorset.

Authorities said Shawn Barnard is a previous meth manufacturer and is thought to still be one.

Earlier Monday evening, authorities said Chasity Cass could be headed to Atoka, Oklahoma, since she has family there.
