The company reported it may ship products based on customers’ previous orders and shopping habits.
According to The Wall Street Journal, in the patent document, Amazon said delays between ordering and receiving purchases, “May dissuade customers from buying items from online merchants.”
This is the latest in Amazon’s attempts to cut delivery time; in December, the company talked about using delivery drones.
