CLEVELAND-It was an amazing escape that people around the world won’t soon forget: Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight were rescued after surviving more than a decade of being held hostage and abused inside a Cleveland home.
The women’s escape has been turned into a Lifetime Original Movie, ‘Cleveland Abduction.’
Lifetime revealed on its Facebook page a trailer for the TV movie, which you can watch above.
The movie will explore the true story of Michelle Knight, who is played by Taryn Manning of ‘Orange Is the New Black.’
Ariel Castro is portrayed by Raymond Cruz of ‘Breaking Bad.’
‘Cleveland Abduction’ will now premiere on Saturday, May 2 at 8 p.m. That will be just days away from the two-year anniversary of the women’s rescue.
