CLEVELAND — A man was cited for DUI after allegedly failing to stop for a stop sign and crashing into an RTA bus.
The Cleveland Division of Police said 15 people were on the bus, including the driver, and five people were taken to area hospitals for injuries.
A preliminary investigation revealed a 31-year-old man was driving westbound on Ingomar Avenue in Cleveland around 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
He ran the stop sign at Lakeview Avenue and hit the bus heading north on Lakeview, police said.
The man was also injured, and taken to University Hospitals by EMS.
Details on the victims’ conditions were not known.
