MEDINA – A man has been arrested, and a vehicle apprehended that was wanted in connection to a double homicide in Cleveland.

The red Saturn was spotted in a Pilot Truck Stop located on 224 and Lake Road in Seville, in Medina County.

One man, Robert Rembert, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for the murder of a Cleveland woman, said Medina County Sheriff Lt. Travis Colonious.  Rembert is also now considered a person of interest in the double homicide connected to the missing car.

Lt. Colonious said a driver spotted the vehicle, and thought it was the one police were looking for and called police.

Cleveland police were called to a home on East 140th Street at 9:40 p.m. Saturday night after the bodies of two people were discovered there. A 52-year-old black male was found dead of a gunshot wound to his head in the home’s living room. A 26-year-old white female was also found dead of a gunshot wound to her head. She was in a bedroom. It was then that police realized that the Saturn, which belonged to the female victim, was missing and issued the alert.
