Agents find working meth lab in Wooster home

WOOSTER, Ohio — Two people were arrested after drug agents found a working meth lab inside a home in Wooster Thursday.

According to the Medway Drug Enforcement Agency, agents found the lab/active cook inside a home in the 500 block of Lincoln Street. They also found evidence of past meth cooks.

Agents were on scene for over six hours, dismantling, segregating chemicals, collecting evidence and packing hazardous waste.

Suspected meth was recovered along with numerous flammable and toxic chemicals used in the manufacturing of meth.

Samples will be submitted to the BCI lab in Richfield and the State Fire Marshal Lab in Reynoldsburg.

A man and a woman were arrested for assembly of chemicals and manufacturing of meth, and additional people may face charges.
