CLEVELAND, Ohio — A $100,000 bond was continued today for a reputed mob associate and former son-in-law of mob boss John Gotti who faces charges related to what authorities say is a multi-million dollar scam involving scrap metal and stolen cars.

Fifty-six-year-old Carmine "The Bull" Agnello of Bentleyville was arraigned Friday morning. He's been free on a personal bond since July 17 — two days after his arrest by Cleveland police.
County prosecutors sought a bond of at least $1 million. They said Agnello is a flight risk with a history of violence, racketeering, witness intimidation and jury tampering while a member the Gambino crime family in New York City.
Agnello's attorneys say prosecutors' argument is frivolous.
A judge continued Agnello's original bond. The judge also set bond at $10,000 for his wife, Danielle Agnello, who also faces charges in the case.
