Accused dealer charged in Lorain man’s heroin death

LORAIN, Ohio-- The man accused of selling heroin to a Lorain man, who overdosed, is being charged with his death.

Lorain police and paramedics were called to Charles Everett's house on West 14th Street on April 3. The 53-year-old was taken to Mercy Regional Medical Center then flown to MetroHealth Medical Center.

According to police, Everett died of a heroin overdose.

Detectives tracked down the man they say sold him the drugs. Christopher Linder, 52, of Lorain, is charged with involuntary manslaughter and corrupting another with drugs. He was arrested on Friday.
