AKRON--People in the community  gathered to remember four family members who died in a weekend fire, as one of the survivors recovers in the hospital.

Celebration Church leaders tell Fox 8 they are mourning the loss of parents Omar Riley, 37, Shirley Wallis, 34, and their children, Aniyla Riley, 9, and Shanice Riley, 8.

All four died in Saturday's tragedy.

One of the survivors, Shaniya Wallis, 12, is recovering well in the hospital, currently in stable condition, according to Pastor Zach Prosser.

Prosser tells Fox 8 the girl has a burn on her leg and is still in the hospital for smoke inhalation concerns.

Another adult also escaped the fire on East Tallmadge Saturday morning, but it is unclear on that person's condition.

Authorities said there were no working smoke detectors in the home.
