GREEN, Ohio – Police continue to investigate into the death of 18-year-old Green resident, Brandi Morgan, and we have now heard the 911 call made to police that night. The friend with her can be heard crying throughout the call and telling dispatchers he can’t find her.

On Monday night, just after 9 p.m. Summit County Sheriff’s and the Green Fire Department responded to the 911 call of a girl who drowned in a pond behind Evan’s Supply, at 2448 Greensburg Road.

The report says a 55-year-old North Canton man was with Morgan at the time of her death, and in the portion of the 911 call above, you can hear him tell dispatchers that Morgan drowned and he can’t locate her in the pond.

The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office has not yet officially ruled on a cause of death, pending additional test results.

Investigators are continuing to look into her death, and why she was with the man at the pond that late and in the colder weather.

Morgan was a senior at North Canton’s Hoover High School, where the school district had grief counselors available to students and staff.
