BROOKLYN, New York – Constance Tillit, 80, hasn’t let losing her husband slow her down.

In fact, she’s gotten in better shape since his death.

She is 50 pounds lighter than she was 10 months ago, despite two knee replacements, two hip replacements and two rotator cuff surgeries.

Tillit said her husband was her everything, and despite losing him, he is still her encouragement.

“Get up and do it,” she says. “Stop with the whining, stop with the ‘oh you have to take care of me.’ Take care of yourself.”
