(KFOR-TV) TULSA, Okla. —  A Tulsa-area dentist is facing more than a dozen counts from the State Dentistry Board for allegedly exposing his patients to potentially deadly diseases.

The investigation has already revealed one patient testing positive for HIV and Hepatitis C.

The allegations are centered around W. Scott Harrington.

He has dental practices in Tulsa and Owasso.

Some 7,000 patients may have been exposed to diseases after an investigation revealed numerous health and safety violations.

Harrington’s patients are being urged to be tested at Tulsa’s health department.

Health authorities have also set up a hotline for people with questions, (918) 595-4500.

Letters are also being sent to known patients, as well.
