RAVENNA, Ohio- Police are investigating after a woman was found with a gunshot wound in Ravenna.
Officers were called to West Harris Avenue near South Chestnut Street at about 1:25 a.m. Friday. That’s where they discovered the 50-year-old victim in a front yard.
Ravenna police said she was shot in her back. She was taken to an area hospital and later moved to another treatment facility. Her condition is not known at this time, but police said her injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
Officers interviewed family, friends and neighbors in hopes of locating a suspect. At this time, they do not know the motive for the shooting.
