CLEVELAND - About 40 area churches have invited their congregations to participate in a march on Tuesday, May 26 to ask for justice in wake of officer Michael Brelo's not guilty verdict.

Brelo had been charged with two counts of voluntary manslaughter for his actions in the November 29, 2012 chase and deadly shooting. Two suspects, Timothy Russell and Malissa Williams were killed after 13 officers fired 137 shots.  Police had thought the suspects were shooting at them.  No gun was found on the suspects.

The church members are set to march from 629 Euclid Avenue, the Holiday Inn Express, to the Justice Center.

The Olivet Baptist Church will also hold a rally on Friday, May 29. Reverend Al Sharpton is scheduled to attend.
